1. Prepare Your Mac

Before you begin the installation process, make sure your Mac is ready. First, back up all your important data using Time Machine or an external hard drive. This will ensure that you don’t lose any valuable information during the installation. Next, check that your Mac has enough free space on its internal storage to accommodate the new macOS version.
