How to Delete Search Suggestions on Google
In today’s digital age, search engines like Google have become an integral part of our daily lives. They help us find information, navigate the web, and solve problems with ease. However, one feature that many users find annoying is the search suggestions that appear as they type their queries. If you’re tired of seeing unwanted search suggestions on Google, here’s a guide on how to delete search suggestions on Google.
Step 1: Access the Google Search Settings
To begin, open your web browser and navigate to the Google Search page. On the top right corner, click on the three horizontal lines to open the menu. From the menu, select “Settings.”
Step 2: Go to the Search History Section
In the Settings menu, scroll down and click on “Search history.” This section allows you to manage your search activity, including your search suggestions.
Step 3: Delete Individual Suggestions
To delete individual search suggestions, click on the “Manage search history” link. This will open a new page displaying all your recent searches and search suggestions. Scroll through the list and click on the “X” icon next to each suggestion you want to delete. A confirmation message will appear, asking if you’re sure you want to remove the suggestion. Click “Yes” to confirm.
Step 4: Clear All Search Suggestions

On the next page, you’ll see a list of all your search activity. To disable personalized search, click on the three horizontal lines next to “Web & App Activity” and select “Manage settings.” In the “Personal results” section, toggle the switch next to “Include search activity” to “Off.”
